What exactly is 'Inner Wealth'?

After many years of pursuing a spiritual, or soul-based healing path, I came to an eye-opening conclusion. One cannot be truly prosperous without a solid internal point of reference. Something to believe in. Something unshakable. Something that keeps one energized about every facet of life rather than leaving one feeling drained, unfulfilled, disorganized, goal-less and just plain empty.

And, that something needs to be rooted in a person's belief system, whatever that belief system may be.

The world has changed drastically over the last 10 years. We are now in an economic downturn; some would call it a crisis, even a recession. There is panic, financial loss, personal embarrassment & ruin due to debt, and much more. This is serious. Much of this physical/monetary loss is unavoidable. There is a stripping down of the American Dream, if it even still exists at all.....many are left with seemingly nothing but their skin and their shattered dreams.

But wait. I'm wondering if you just noticed what I just said! Out of the ashes rises the Phoenix!
In other words, when one hits bottom, there is nowhere left to go but up...

My goal is not mainly to help you regain all of your physical or financial wealth, although this can happen once you begin to appreciate your inner wealth. My goal IS to assist you in recognizing and re-energizing your inner resources. Remember when you first discovered something new? How did you feel? You probably felt like you were the only one with that particular idea, viewpoint, skill, talent or gift. It was uniquely yours. You felt as though the Divine had parted the clouds and handed you something magical. Life was perfect!

Notice that I am describing the feeling of being special, being singled-out, or being blessed. I'm not talking about the gift itself, but the feeling created by receiving the blessing. You CAN find that feeling again. When you find yourself with seemingly nothing left, you are an empty vessel waiting to be filled, awaiting new experiences, new challenges, a chance to begin again, but with more meaning and substance. You are not your income or lack of it. You are not your mistakes. Today is a new day, a clean slate, and from this point on, you will focus on making yourself richer from within from this day forward.

I offer you the opportunity to explore your connection with the Divine, although this is not a religion-based offering, per se'. It is more about how you view your life purpose, and how re-discovering that purpose can put you back on the road to security and joy again. You can reconnect with the flow of the Universe and feel comforted in knowing that you have choices, and also, something within yourself that no-one can take from you. An inner light, a resource, an unwritten story awaiting a writer.

Your coaching session will be 90 minutes in length. You may choose to book additional future sessions with me if you like. Sessions are by telephone only. Please set aside a full 90 minutes of uninterrupted time in which to interact openly with me. I'd love it if you will relax and feel comfortable sharing with me. I never judge anyone for anything, and of course, as any counselor or therapist is, I am held to the highest standards of confidentiality and respect for the client. I will phone you, so please provide a phone number where you can be reached.

Coaching differs from therapy in the sense that a coach partners with you to encourage you in finding your own solutions to your difficulties. I do not prescribe medications or tell you what to do. About the Spiritual Counseling Session:

Do you find that you have questions that fall outside of the realm of typical?
With my Spiritual Counseling sessions, I can help you to reconnect with your inner path of faith, as well as help to answer some of those questions that we all ask about why we are here, why our lives seem so difficult when we try so hard to live correctly, why loss is necessary for growth, and so much more. Psychiatry and Psychology address the mind & its processes; Spiritual Counseling, which is recognized as a form of alternative therapy, addresses the soul of the person, touching on one's connection with the Higher Power or Divine Energy. It is not based on any one religion, but embraces the unique individuality of each person and their chosen path of faith. It is a caring, loving option.

This session will consist of a relaxed discussion about the spiritual aspects of your issue/dilemma/concern. I will offer advice and suggestions (after you have fully described your problem in detail) which you agree is given to you with the understanding that you will make the adult decision as to what you will do with said advice/suggestions. No medical treatments are offered, no perscriptions or other traditional medicines are suggested or required. I am not a medical doctor, although I am certified as a Spiritual Counselor, and am fully qualified to approach a problem from a spiritual standpoint. I hope to be of great help to all who come to me, but I do acknowledge and accept that sometimes I will need to refer a client to a psychologist or psychiatrist, because a problem may be outside of my ability to treat.
