"I wanted to share a very interesting observation that happened to me a little while ago. I decided to go outside and enjoy the beautiful sunshine with a 2.5 mile walk around our neighborhood. (I live in the mountains in a pretty heavily wooded area and the 2.5 miles is the road that encircles my area). I was enjoying listening to my iPod and just trying to take in all the smells and sites. About half way through the walk I decided to concentrate on my Reiki symbols and making them in my mind. When I came to the Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen my hands started to tingle and I felt like I needed to look and direct my palms to the trees – it was awesome – the breeze started to blow and there were little sparrows that seemed to be following me – I just kept chanting in my mind the name of this symbol and trying to visualize it as I walked the rest of the way home. It was as if the trees were saying thank you to me as I walked past them. Sometimes the feeling was stronger than others and I tried to pay more attention to the areas that have been hit by the pine beetle. I have made my crystal grid and had charged it with this symbol as well this morning and the whole house just feels more calm. I am looking forward to letting this wonderful power grow in me more and more as I move toward my next chapter in my life.
