About My Readings
I recall a time not long ago, when, if you told someone you were having a 'reading', visions of gypsies whispering by candlelight were the first images they conjured up. Times have changed, and those with the 'gift' are now taken as seriously as anyone else in the working world. Free society has become far more open-minded in this new millenium, and at the same time, intuitives have chosen to pursue formal training to supplement their natural talents, learning, for example the skills of compassion and healing. Intuitives, which is what I refer to myself as, have earned new respect due to a more receptive population and also, the pursuit of formal training.
I knew from a very young age that I was 'a little different'. My mother would say, 'too sensitive', and she was well-aquainted with this moniker, because I came by this trait from her side of the family. I could feel others' pain in my own body as they suffered, emotionally or physically, and I spent much of my time in observation and reflection when I encountered other people, which also earned me the label of 'shy'. But I was reading these people, and what I did not know then was that although this behavior was not completely unheard of, it was not too common, either. Sometimes I was frightened by what I could see, feel, or hear, emitting from those around me. It was like waves of light and energy radiating outward, and each person I encountered was like an entire movie playing out right before my eyes. This was overwhelming to my sensitive psyche, but it saved me, and others around me, in ways I now see were nothing short of miraculous. My curse was also a blessing!
Along the way, I found that my gift was like an unbridled horse. I was always trying to contain and cap it off. Then, approximately 22 years ago, I began to understand that without the proper training and focus, this gift would just run rampant in all directions and aspects of my life, and rather than me controlling it, it would forever control me. How could I ever be normal? That is all I wanted then, and quite interestingly, it is the last thing I want now.
Enter, the Oracles....
Oracles, such as the Tarot or the Runes, are physical tools which connect the conscious mind with the subconscious mind, through the five senses, and also, the mysterious sixth sense. I began to work with oracles in 1985, and found that my own fear of my gift began to dissipate rapidly. And with this new blessing came an added bonus--- when friends or family saw me using my Tarot cards or Runes, they all wanted to be guinea pigs, and I went from being 'weird' in their eyes to being very cool. Well, what a surprise! At that time, I found myself asking some big questions about my faith, as well. I found nothing at church to support me as a woman or the expansive mindset I lived by. I was left feeling stifled after every visit, and I did not feel that the Divine that I knew to exist could be found there. In 1993, at the age of 30, I began a dedicated path to true spirituality, as I call it. Not the organized religion most of us were raised on, but something altogether deeper----an energy I had often felt within myself which was directly connected to a universal, all-encompassing, living energy that I was still trying to define and understand. I received formal training and reached High Priestess level on the Goddess Path, which at the time was still something followers of that path did in secret. And although Wicca/Paganism is nearly a mainstream religious path today, it was still something feared by society at that time.
My pursuit of higher education continued steadily from that point onward, and it has never stopped. I believe that one of the largest obstacles to success and happiness today is the 'living inside the box' theory. Once we close our minds, its over, folks! Which brings me to the entire point of why most folks ask for a reading....they want to know more, and because they are either too close to a situation to be objective, or they simply do not trust their own intution, they will seek out an intuitive, or a sensitive, as we are called.
To be quite direct, I want to help you. This is my greatest joy in life, to comfort another soul, to bring meaning and direction to those who have lost their way, or who are simply confused by the energies around them or within themselves. This is my career, just as yours may be that of a lawyer, salesperson, pizza maker or daycare provider......my work is healing, from the tiniest mircrocosm of life to the largest macrocosm in the universe. I throw my energy and skills into the mix and work towards solving a problem, or healing a life. It is all the same to me. We eat to heal hunger, the body's call for nourishment. We give love in hopes of receiving it back sincerely, another primal need.......I'm sure you can think of so many more that we, as humans & even animals, need to survive. I understand these needs and offer you the benefit of my gift in order that you may be healed.
I have received daily requests for telephone readings, and so, here it begins....please drop me a line if you'd like to know more, or go to my shop to purchase a reading for yourself. I offer other varieties of readings as well, via email. If you choose a telephone consultation with me, whether it is a spiritual counseling session or an intuitive reading, I call you. The session will typically last for 90 minutes, so I ask that you set aside that amount of time so you will not be distracted or interrupted while we talk. I am also required to say, here, that although a reading can offer you valuable insights and direction in your life, we will assume that you are a responsible adult with complete freedom of choice, and you will make your own decisions about what you do with the information you receive from me. You thusly agree, by purchasing a reading or spiritual counseling session from me, that you are the master of your life, and you will not hold me liable for the decisions you make, or the path your life takes. Of couse I aim to help you, that is my deepest wish, but legally, I must make the above statement to the client to protect myself, so I thank you for understanding!
You are like a flower, possessing infinite potential and a beautiful, unique light-energy which is geared towards expansion, not contraction. Energy, which we are all made of, is in a constant state of transformation---we never truly stand still, it is an illusion, and so, once you begin to realize that big changes start with one small step, and then a few more following thereafter, your life will become something you co-create with the Divine. Life will no longer be a brick wall you butt your head up against in desperation. So dear seeker, I look foward to assisting you in transforming your life!
